Eric Hughes -Eric joined the Pastoral Team in 1997 and is the Senior Pastor. Eric is responsible for providing overall direction for the church, the preaching of the Word and the pastoral team. He also currently administrates 316 our Parent / Teen ministry. Unbeknownst to most people, Eric struggles with a rare food allergy rendering him incapable of consuming most vegetables. His wife, Marie, provides him with a steady supply of chips and salsa to ensure he maintains a balanced diet. Eric loves the Denver Broncos, enjoys all types of reading, loves to golf and spend time with his family. Eric and Marie have four children and live in Chesapeake.
 Kirk Alexander – Kirk joined the Pastoral Team in June 2008, after graduating from the Pastors College in Gaithersburg, Maryland. He assists in the care and oversight of care groups. Additionally, he is responsible for pastoral care, evangelism and outreach programs. In addition to working for the church, Kirk is a long-distance advisor for Louisiana State University’s head football coach, Les Miles. Kirk loves to read, follows both LSU and New England Patriots football, and is retired Navy. Kirk and his wife, Sabrina, live in Chesapeake and have eight children. |
